About This Plant
Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a perennial herb that grows 24"–36" tall. Loved by cats, it’s also suitable for teas, herbal remedies, and pollinator gardens. Thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Drought-tolerant once established and generally pest-resistant with a strong minty scent that deters deer and rabbits.
