About This Plant
Chinese Cabbage Matsushima (Brassica rapa var. pekinensis Group) is a compact, cool-season Napa cabbage variety known for tightly packed, barrel-shaped heads with a sweet, mild flavor and tender-crisp texture. It matures in 70–85 days and is suitable for spring and fall planting. This non-GMO, disease-resistant variety produces light green heads with creamy white cores and grows best in full sun to partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil.
