About This Plant
WHITE Pickerel Rush (Pontederia cordata) is an aquatic perennial with upright, clumping growth. It features purple flower spikes and lush green, heart-shaped leaves. Suitable for ponds, bogs, and aquatic landscapes, it helps filter water and shade to reduce algae growth. Planted in aquatic or wetland soil, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers consistently moist conditions.
